Job Title: Software Test Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Test Engineer to join our team at Autodesk Pune, India. As a Software Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering top-quality Web and Cloud software. Your primary responsibility will be to work with our scrum team to perform manual end-to-end testing, ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual end-to-end testing to ensure that our software meets the highest standards of quality and functionality.
  • Work closely with our product design and product management teams to understand requirements and translate them into test plans for functional and regression testing.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure efficient and effective testing.
  • Collaborate with our development team to identify and resolve defects, ensuring that our software is delivered on time and within budget.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in any Engineering discipline from a reputable engineering college.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in Test.
  • Hands-on experience with any one of Frontend automation frameworks like Cypress, Selenium, etc.
  • Hands-on experience in programming languages like JavaScript, Java, Python, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with any one of Backend Rest API Automation frameworks like Rest Assured, Karate, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with any one of popular BDD Methodologies like Cucumber, JBehave, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Jenkins (CI/CD), and GIT.
  • Strong in trouble shooting skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Solid familiarity with Agile development processes and QA methodologies.
  • Nice to have experience with various tools for performance testing of Rest APIs like JMeter, etc.
  • Nice to have some domain experience in Data Management Cloud services.
  • Preferred to have exposure to testing cloud infrastructure based on AWS.
  • Experience working with scalable, high-quality cloud services.
  • Excellent communication and written skills.
