Job Title: Director of Strategic Collection Operations
Job Description:

  As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the operational and product strategy for loan repayment, ensuring seamless compliance with regulatory requirements.

  You will be responsible for identifying and delivering insightful analysis to drive high collection rates. This includes leveraging both internal and external data to craft informed collection strategies.

  Another crucial aspect of the job is managing a team within the collections department to guarantee sufficient staff members are available to handle the workload effectively.

  We seek a seasoned people leader who can navigate complex data sets, roll up their sleeves, and code, while actively influencing vendor strategies to optimize repayment at the lowest possible cost.

  The ideal candidate will possess a strong quantitative background in engineering, statistics, math, economics, or related disciplines, along with 5+ years of experience in analyzing data using database query language (e.g. SQL) and programming tools such as Python, R, and Databricks Analytics.

  The role demands exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should also exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to engage and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across teams.

  Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Quantitative background in engineering, statistics, math, economics, or related disciplines
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis using SQL and programming tools (e.g. Python, R, Databricks Analytics)
