Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Application Development Senior Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality applications and services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application development, with experience working on large-scale projects and leading cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for analyzing issues, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions that meet business needs.

You will work closely with our application development team to promote best practices for operational readiness, effective communication, and collaboration. Your ability to coordinate with internal and external resources, as well as your experience with agile application development life cycles, will be essential in driving success in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills across applications and database technologies
  • Strong ITSM background and understanding of best practices related to incident, change, and problem management
  • Technical background in database technologies (Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB)
  • Experience with cloud-hosted applications and supporting various server platforms (Linux, Windows, and Virtualized server environments)
  • Understanding of agile application development life cycles and supporting test environments
  • Experience with REST services, alerting, and monitoring tools to ensure adherence to service level agreements
  • Experience with application capacity and performance tools
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
