Job Title: Business Intelligence Specialist

Overview

As a key member of the business intelligence team, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision making across the organization. Your primary responsibility will be to extract, store, manipulate, process and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns and correlations.

You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop insights that inform strategic initiatives. This will involve developing and executing standard queries to ensure data quality, identifying inconsistencies and missing data, and providing recommendations for improvement.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to possess excellent communication and influencing skills to effectively convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collecting, profiling and mapping relevant data for use in new or existing solutions
  • Identifying and documenting data migration paths and processes, standardizing data naming, definitions and modeling
  • Helping to interpret customer needs and turning them into functional or data requirements and process models
  • Supporting multiple large-scale projects within the department
Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need at least eight years of experience working with data analysis tools and delivering data analysis in a technology or IT function. You should also have an in-depth understanding of the interrelationships of data and multiple data domains, as well as experience with SQL databases.

We are looking for individuals who possess a strong background in research-based analysis, using both qualitative and quantitative data to drive insights. Excellent influencing and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
