Department

Our Intelligent Automation - COE team works to enable a collaborative workplace that empowers FLSmidth to work SMART. We provide process automation solutions in FLSmidth that can avoid repetitive mundane tasks by introducing BOTs using RPA and other digital tools. In addition to RPA-BOTs, we are also utilizing GenAI, Chatbots, and Machine Learning technologies to enable further digitalization and bring smarter ways of working at FLSmidth.

Responsibilities

  • As a Process Automation specialist, you are responsible for identifying, understanding, and designing business processes for automation.
  • Setting up, testing, and monitoring automated workflows to ensure that business processes function at optimum efficiency without risk of error.
  • Preparing detailed technical/solution design documents.
  • Developing and delivering projects in time and with quality.
  • Reporting project progress to all stakeholders.
  • Monitoring changes that happen during development or testing phases while ensuring project scope and specifications are intact.
  • Developing AI projects hands-on, contributing to the entire lifecycle from conception to deployment.
  • Participating in POCs to explore how GenAI can be applied to enhance company performance.
  • Couching and guiding colleagues into GenAI development.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions into our processes.
  • Staying up to date with industry trends and advancements in AI and machine learning.

What you bring

  • A University Graduate or Post Graduate in Computer Science or with equivalent qualification.
  • Advanced or Master certification in RPA technologies, preferably in Automation Anywhere A360.
  • Overall 8 to 10 years of experience with 5 to 7 in developing automation solutions using RPA/Python/ML.
  • Experience in maintaining and upkeep of RPA environment.
  • Strong software development skills in Python, and/or other languages.
  • Understanding of data structures, algorithms, ML model validation, and software engineering principles.
  • Experience implementing software solutions based on GenAI models.
  • Experience with Process Analysis, Design, and Implementation, Business and Technical requirements, Problem-Solving, and System Testing, including UAT and Bug fixes.
  • Instrumental with NLP techniques, as well as information retrieval from different documents and formats.
