About the Role:
As a Reservation Manager at Merlis Hotels Coimbatore, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue, improving booking efficiency, and maintaining high service standards. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the reservations team, ensuring that every guest has a seamless experience from booking to check-out.
Key Tasks:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize room or service availability, leading to increased revenue and improved guest satisfaction.
- Train and coach reservations staff to deliver exceptional customer service and meet sales targets.
- Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling, resulting in increased revenue.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns that drive bookings and enhance brand awareness.
- Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a reservations or front office role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Strong knowledge of reservation systems and property management systems.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a customer-first mindset.
