About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced Cloud FinOps Analyst who has deep expertise in cloud financial management, cost optimization practices, and stakeholder alignment.
You'll bring practitioner experience to help shape our product roadmap, validate real-world use cases, and consult on optimization practices across cloud environments.
- Advise on cloud cost management strategies across AWS (mandatory), and optionally GCP & Azure.
- Provide insights into common FinOps use cases such as showback/chargeback, forecasting, budget guardrails, anomaly detection, rightsizing, and workload optimization.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to map real-world challenges into product features.
- Share expertise in cost allocation, tagging strategies, and governance frameworks.
- Highlight gaps in current market tools and suggest opportunities for differentiation.
- Guide adoption of FinOps best practices in alignment with the FinOps Foundation principles.
Required Qualifications:
Key Skills and Experience:
- 3–6+ years of experience in FinOps, Cloud Cost Optimization, or Cloud Financial Management.
- Strong practical expertise in AWS Cost Explorer, CUR, CloudWatch, Trusted Advisor, and Budgets.
- FinOps Certified Practitioner / Advanced Practitioner certification is mandatory.
- Proven experience implementing chargeback/showback models, forecasting, and cloud governance.
- Solid technical understanding of cloud architecture and usage drivers (compute, storage, networking).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills (Finance and Engineering).
