Global Supply Chain Solutions Designer

The Solution Architect – Supply Chain will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of integrated SAP and non-SAP solutions supporting global procurement, planning, inventory, and quality management processes.

• Solution Design and Delivery: Lead the design and implementation of integrated SAP and non-SAP solutions to support global procurement, planning, and inventory processes.
• Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements that add measurable business value.
• Fit-Gap Analysis: Conduct fit-gap analysis and architect functional and technical solutions that promote global standards, integration, and automation.
• Solution Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed solution design documentation and functional specifications.
• SAP Configuration: Configure and support SAP modules including MM, QM, PP, and IM; design custom solutions for procurement, subcontracting, inter-company transactions, and production planning.
• Automated Solutions: Architect automated solutions involving ABAP enhancements, user exits, custom reports, movement types, and forms.
• Inbound Goods Planning: Manage inbound goods planning, procurement-related master data, vendor portal integration, and lifecycle management.
• MRP and Demand Planning: Lead the implementation and support of MRP, demand/supply planning logic, and custom reporting.
• Integration and Testing: Integrate SAP ECC with SAP IBP and other cloud-based or external planning tools; monitor batch jobs, interfaces, process chains, and ensure system stability across planning and inventory functions.
• System Deployment: Lead system testing cycles and user acceptance testing; oversee smooth deployment of solution changes into production.
• Roadmap Planning: Work with supply chain stakeholders to plan road map for 6-12 months and plan resources accordingly.
• Mentorship and Training: Guide and mentor the Solution Engineer – Supply Chain on daily tasks, architecture alignment, and delivery timelines.
• Service Request Management: Respond to service requests efficiently and provide timely communication to stakeholders.
• Collaboration and Development: Collaborate with development teams on solution implementation, ensure alignment to system architecture, scalability, and performance.
• Special Projects: Execute responsibilities in special projects, adhering to timelines, and escalate risks as needed.
• Process Improvement: Leverage existing tools and knowledge assets to reduce duplication and accelerate delivery of robust solutions.
• Documentation and Compliance: Follow prescribed Solution Manager processes and maintain full documentation lifecycle (CC, FS, TS).
• Data Analytics and Custom Programming: Leverage and deploy Generative AI-assisted data analytics and apply logical constructs to custom programming steps to design efficient, scalable business solutions with minimal reliance on development resources.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Applications, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 full lifecycle SAP implementations with solution design ownership.
• SAP Expertise: At least 8 years of experience in SAP Supply Chain functional areas (MM, PP, QM, IM).
• Planning and Procurement: Experience with procurement planning, subcontracting, inter-company procurement, MRP, and lifecycle management.
• Cloud-Based Planning Tools: Hands-on experience with SAP IBP or equivalent cloud-based planning tools.
• ABAP Debugging: Experience with ABAP debugging and collaboration on custom developments.
• APO and SRM: Knowledge of APO, SRM.
• Custom Solution Design: Designed and architected solutions to support Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes, including integration of SAP systems with internal and external applications.
• Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills, system troubleshooting capabilities, and ability to work across global time zones.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• International Experience: Experience in working with international clients.
• Detail-Oriented and Results-Driven: Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven.
