Your Role:
As a Strategic Finance Leader, you'll drive our financial strategy, fundraising, and operational growth. You'll ensure we have resources, systems, and processes to scale sustainably from day one.
- Financial Strategy:
- Develop and manage financial models (unit economics, CAC/LTV, marketplace liquidity).
- Lead fundraising efforts: prepare investor materials, pitch decks, and financial modeling.
- Establish robust financial systems: accounting, compliance, reporting, unit economics, CAC/LTV analysis.
- Marketplace Operations:
- Design and execute a marketplace operations playbook.
- Develop operational processes for venue partnerships, equipment rentals, and event logistics.
- Balance marketplace liquidity: hosts & events to meet attendee demand.
- Build trust & safety operations: dispute resolution, refunds, and community guidelines.
- Scaling & Partnerships:
- Oversee legal & compliance frameworks: contracts, NDAs, corporate structure, MCA compliance.
- Foster partnerships with venues, service providers, and student organizations.
- Develop KPI dashboards: event volume, ticket sales, host retention, repeat attendance.
- Hire and manage community managers and operational staff as we grow.
