US Accounting Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled US Accounting Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end accounting operations, support finance functions, and ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
About the Role:This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional to manage U.S. accounting operations, lead cross-functional teams, and drive process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and review weekly timesheets and client invoices
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll/accounting data
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports in QuickBooks
- Reconcile AP/AR accounts and maintain financial records
- Assist with GL entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Support financial statement preparation in line with U.S. GAAP
- Track and manage PO expirations and related documentation
- Maintain master data for employees, customers, and vendors
- Liaise with state agencies for payroll, unemployment, and tax matters
- 5+ years of experience in U.S. accounting/bookkeeping (staffing/consulting preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Experience in payroll, AP/AR, and expense management
- QuickBooks proficiency (mandatory)
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, reconciliations)
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
