Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Delivery Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating end-to-end cyber security and assurance project deliveries.

About the Role

  • The Project Delivery Specialist will work closely with the information security program management team to ensure successful project delivery.
  • The role requires excellent project management skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with in-person and remote teams.
  • The specialist must have good tracking skills, create detailed project plans, and report on metrics to track progress.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Delivery Specialist will act as a point of contact for the Security team looking for support with new project delivery, enhancements, reporting etc.
  2. The role requires technical experience within running enterprise, security and infrastructure projects.
  3. The specialist will establish and document project requirements and guidelines in accordance with standard security project delivery coordination and management.
  4. The specialist will track security project requirements, outstanding risk, issues and decisions, lifecycle documentation and dependencies.
  5. The specialist will keep project details up to date and accurate to support reporting on project milestones, and any other project related data.
  6. The specialist will create cross-functional project plans that include scope definition, schedules, stakeholder identification, resourcing, communication plans and risk analysis.
  7. The specialist will interface with multiple stakeholders, gathering and prioritizing requirements, and facilitating project scope definition.
  8. The specialist will facilitate regular status meetings to manage the project plan execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience as a project coordinator or a technical role within information technology or security
  • Ability to apply standardized project control mechanisms such as planning and project progress tracking / control, estimating, logic analysis, resource planning and allocation, issue and risk management
  • Ability to use PMO tools effectively
  • Ability to self-start effectively with ambiguity and varying levels of detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to organize personal and team time effectively
  • Technical understanding of security technologies an asset
  • Cyber security experience an asset
