Embedded Systems Leadership Opportunity

We seek a seasoned engineering professional to lead our embedded systems initiatives as Assistant Vice President, Practice Lead. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices, AI implementation in the Engineering process, and will play a crucial role in driving innovation and excellence in our projects.

The successful candidate will provide expert guidance on embedded system design, development, and implementation, leading technical discussions and decision-making processes to ensure optimal solutions. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables, staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance on embedded system design, development, and implementation.
  • Lead technical discussions and decision-making processes to ensure optimal solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in embedded systems.
  • Develop and enforce quality standards for embedded system development.

The selected candidate will be responsible for mentoring junior engineers, providing training sessions to enhance team capabilities, and sharing knowledge through workshops and seminars.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience in embedded system development, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, familiarity with Linux and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
  • Knowledge of FPGA, System design, verification and validation, and test automation.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies with proven track record of successfully leading complex projects from concept to production.

Prior experience with IoT applications and gen AI integration, knowledge of cybersecurity practices related to embedded systems, and familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools are highly desirable.
