The successful candidate must have a strong academic background and at least eight years of experience in teaching and research at a reputable institution.

Job Title: Professor – Operations management/Supply chain management/ Information systems

Key Responsibilities:

  • To enrich the curriculum deliverables for undergraduate and postgraduate programs continuously.
  • To guide, lead, and mentor students in research projects.
  • Evaluate, monitor, and mentor students' academic progress.
  • Create innovative career-enhancement programs and activities.
  • Assess, review, and evaluate student activities and progress.
  • Facilitate students in securing career opportunities in areas of Operations management/Supply chain management/ Information systems.
  • Encourage students to challenge their way of thinking, learning, and understanding of academic disciplines.
  • Develop core curriculum and deliver course material effectively.
  • Publish research papers, attend conferences, and deliver presentations to build a strong research network.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tools and technologies to facilitate understanding of students.
  • To undertake research, either individually or with colleagues, of a level and quality that will result in regular publication in top-ranked international journals.
  • Prepare proposals to secure research funding.
  • Organize seminars and events to interact with established industry professionals.
  • Review teaching methods and materials to make recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Demonstrated interest and competence in establishing courses and teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • A strong desire to publish research papers in prestigious journals with outside funding possibilities for research initiatives.
  • Ph.D. in Operations management/Supply chain management/ Information systems or related areas from a top-notch institution.
  • Demonstrated experience & proven track record in teaching to contribute to PG/UG courses in Operations management/Supply chain management/ Information systems including supervision of bachelor's and master's theses.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with effective understanding of pedagogical tools and processes.
  • Ability to work in teams.

Estimated Salary: ₹80,00,000 - ₹1,20,00,000 per annum based on qualifications and experience.
