Senior Project Engineer Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer with a background in civil engineering and extensive experience in project execution, site supervision, and team coordination. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage site engineers and labor teams, ensure quality control, and travel as needed for large-scale projects.

About the Role:

  • Lead and manage on-site civil engineering projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Supervise site engineers, labor teams, and subcontractors to maintain efficient workflows and high-quality outputs.
  • Ensure compliance with project timelines, drawings, and safety standards through regular site visits and inspections.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal project teams to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Prepare and review progress reports and quality checks to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Travel across India for major project supervision as required.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in civil project execution with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong team management, labor coordination, and leadership skills to motivate and direct teams.
  • Proficient in project planning tools, Excel, and MS Office to analyze data and develop strategies.
  • Excellent English communication (verbal & written) to interact with stakeholders and clients.
  • Willingness to travel for site and project-related activities.
