Job Title:

Vessel Operations Manager

Are you a seasoned professional with experience in managing and overseeing the effective operation of vessels at ports? Do you have a strong academic background and approximately 18-20 years of experience in the maritime industry?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and control operational activities to optimize revenue and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with principals, vendors, and government agencies to achieve operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Ensure fast turnaround of vessels in port, loading and discharge of cargo, and equipment maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Enforce cost-effectiveness, problem-solving, operational safety standards, capacity management, and team management to drive business results.
  • Improve operational procedures and systems, and innovate services to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Monitor and control all operations to ensure office administration, MIS, payables, and receivables are managed effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in handling Container/Bulk/Break Bulk/Project Cargo/Lifts on-Lifts off/RoRo operations.
