Job Overview

The role of Sustainability Specialist involves collaborating with clients to collect and verify data, perform carbon footprint emissions and life cycle assessments, and prepare reports in line with established guidelines.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Data collection and validation: Assist clients in gathering accurate data for carbon footprint emissions (Scope 1, 2 & 3) and life cycle assessments.
  • Life Cycle Assessment: Conduct research, validate and verify data for life cycle assessments.
  • Report Preparation: Support the preparation of draft reports for carbon footprint, life cycle assessment, and ESG in line with established frameworks.
  • Organizational Administrative Tasks: Contribute to administrative tasks as required.
  • Knowledge Building: Continuously update knowledge of ESG concepts and associated frameworks.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain a database of potential clients, manage outreach activities, identify high-potential leads, initiate engagement with prospects, and regularly update the sales pipeline.
  • Account Mapping and Research: Conduct account mapping, understand buyer personas, identify key decision-makers, schedule meetings for the sales team, validate and qualify accounts before adding them to the pipeline, apply independent research skills to source relevant information, and familiarize oneself with the company's CRM tools.
