We are seeking a seasoned Container Platform Engineer to join our team.

As a Container Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining containerized OpenShift platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that applications and systems are scalable, reliable, and secure.

  • Design and Deployment: Design and deploy robust, scalable, and secure internal Kubernetes/Container platforms that support the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
  • Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts, tools, and documentation to streamline deployment and management processes.
  • Platform Stability and Performance: Ensure platform stability and performance by proactively monitoring system metrics, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing resources.
  • Observability and Logging: Implement observability solutions, such as monitoring, logging, and tracing tools, to gain valuable insights into platform performance and application behavior.
  • Technical Guidance and Support: Provide technical guidance and support to development teams, helping them adopt the Kubernetes platform and improve their application deployment and management capabilities.
  • Incident Management: Be on call on rotation basis and handle unexpected incidents.
  • High Availability and Networking: Create and manage Kubernetes objects, configure networking, and ensure high availability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with developers, architects, and project managers to ensure that solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and meet business requirements.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure that solutions are secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications">
  • Experience: At least 7+ years of experience in OpenShift Engineering including some public cloud experience.
  • Platform Engineering: Experience in platform engineering, infrastructure automation, SRE, or a similar role.
  • Kubernetes Architecture: Understanding of Kubernetes architecture, concepts, and components, with hands-on experience in building and managing Kubernetes platforms in production environments.
  • End-to-End Implementation: End-to-end implementation of the Kubernetes architecture - installation, configuration, hardening, networking, etc.
  • Programming Language: Proficiency in a procedural or scripting programming language (examples: python, Go).
  • Continuous Integration/Delivery: Experienced with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery principles (examples: Github Actions, Concourse, ArgoCD, Jenkins).
  • Containerized Applications: Experience designing and deploying containerized applications on Kubernetes.
  • Automation Tools: Experience with automation tools, such as Helm, Terraform, Ansible and Azure DevOps.
  • Security and Compliance: Understanding of security and compliance best practices.
  • Observability: Familiarity with observability best practices and tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
