Job Title:

A High-Risk Security Specialist is needed to oversee the development and maintenance of secure software, cloud infrastructure, and internal systems.

This position will be responsible for enforcing security best practices across all engineering functions, ensuring that security is embedded into every stage of the build, deploy, and delivery processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application and cloud security, with experience in threat modeling, code reviews, dynamic scanning, and penetration testing.

Key Responsibilities include leading the adoption of security by design across engineering functions, embedding continuous security testing into CI/CD pipelines, maintaining a developer-centric approach to security, and keeping pace with evolving security threats, technologies, and tools.

  • Security Engineering
    • Develop and maintain secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
    • Partner with engineering teams to define and enforce coding standards aligned with OWASP and CWE guidelines.
    • Continuously monitor and remediate vulnerabilities in source code and dependencies.
  • Cloud & Infrastructure Security
    • Design and maintain secure configurations for cloud environments.
    • Implement and manage security services such as GuardDuty, Inspector, and Security Hub.
    • Lead efforts in runtime protection, including workload scanning, intrusion detection, and anomaly alerting.
  • Security Architecture & Best Practices
    • Champion a shift-left approach to security—collaborating with developers early in the SDLC and providing actionable feedback during design, build, and review phases.
    • Define and promote secure defaults, least-privilege access, and zero-trust architectural principles.
  • Governance, Risk & Compliance
    • Support compliance initiatives by building and documenting enforceable security controls.
    • Work with auditors and risk teams to demonstrate maturity of security processes and ongoing improvements.
