About the Team

The Supply Chain PRO Fulfillment team collaborates with the Pro organization, flatbed distribution center, store, and contact center associates to achieve a seamless delivery experience to Lowe's customers. This role performs the customer delivery subject matter experience to establish a new customer delivery supply chain network.

Job Summary:

The Supply Chain PRO Fulfillment Lead Analyst collaborates with the Pro organization, flatbed distribution center, store, and contact center associates to achieve a seamless delivery experience to Lowe's customers. This role performs the customer delivery subject matter experience to establish a new customer delivery supply chain network with the goal of next day delivery of bulk items to professional jobsites and customer's homes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Defines, coordinates, and executes logistics plans (network inbound/outbound/storage) data collection and analysis to support the evaluation of needed resources as supply chain workflow conditions and customer demand change.
  2. Leads or participates in the documentation of functional requirements for approved projects. Interfaces with other groups in Supply Chain as needed to determine cross-functional impacts.
  3. Defines the requirements, creates use cases, and supports user acceptance testing of IT solutions associated with integration between Lowe's systems and third-party logistics providers.
  4. Works across supply chain, IT, real estate, and training and development to deliver an implementation plan to new Flatbed Fulfillment Center's.
  5. Creates Flatbed Fulfillment Center processes and standard operating procedures leveraging current procedures from Lowe's Pro Fulfillment Playbook and from lessons learned.
  6. Participates in the selection of third-party logistics vendors for delivery operations and final mile delivery to end customers.
  7. Leverages data analytics and planning tools to analyze optimal markets and locations for new Flatbed Fulfillment Center's based on user-defined constraints.
  8. Manages internal tools and directs individuals to monitor results, alerting supply chain management to trends or conditions that may adversely impact supply chain operations and identifying opportunities to improve flow.
  9. Provides regular project status updates to management and business stakeholders via status reports (smaller efforts) or project update meetings.
  10. Tests completed functionality and provides training (handbook or classroom) to end-users as needed.

Years of Experience:

Overall 6+ years of experience.

  1. 4+ years' experience in Supply Chain Management
  2. 3+ years' experience in Project Management
  3. 2+ years' experience in Forecasting, Replenishment Planning, or Inventory Management experience in a high-velocity industry
  4. 2+ years' experience in optimization principles, modeling, and tools
  5. 1+ years' experience of S&OP/S&OE

Education Qualification & Certifications (optional)

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or related field.

Skill Set Required

  1. Experience in data mining tools – SQL
  2. Experience in visualization tools – Excel, PowerBI
  3. Experience in analytical and automation tools – R/Python
  4. Prior experience in building reports to provide visibility to business
  5. Experience in building analytical models, proficient in mathematical and Statistical analysis
  6. Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
  7. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accurate
  8. Working knowledge of Merchandising decision-making tools for Suppliers, Items, and Sourcing to include Financial determinations
  9. Familiar with Inventory Management, Planning, Forecasting, and Transportation processes and systems
  10. Excellent writing and communication skills, including the ability to develop analytical documents for presentation to management

  1. Experience in MS Access
  2. JDA Demand and Fulfillment experience
  3. Experience in or knowledge of Supply Chain Planning and Optimization through use of modeling and simulation tools
