As a Supply Chain Strategist at Wesco International, Inc., you will play a key role in developing and managing supply chain analytics to drive business growth. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing inventory strategies to align with business objectives.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Tackling complex supply chain challenges using expertise in supply chain operations, business analytics, process improvement, and risk management.
  • Empowering inventory SBU leaders and stakeholders with insights for more efficient, risk-averse operations.
  • Questioning and improving traditional methods with innovative techniques and technology, enhancing supply chain processes and working capital utilization.
  • Analyzing market trends to guide inventory management in demand and supply planning and supply chain strategy adjustments.
  • Assisting in developing strategic policies and procedures to enhance operational outcomes.
  • Managing reporting functions, including KPIs, lean kaizen initiatives, and special requests.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance and upholding ethical standards within the supply chain function.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in supply chain transformation, with a focus on initiatives like inventory optimization, forecasting, planning, cost reduction, and network modeling.
  • Familiarity with the industry landscape, including key suppliers, customers, and competitors.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with decision-makers both internally and externally.
  • Exceptional negotiation and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on coaching and conflict resolution.
  • Availability for travel with limited notice.
