About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineering leader to join our team in Bangalore. As a key member of our India initiatives team, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to develop new products and services, as well as scale existing products for the fast-growing Indian market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the performance and career development of a large team of engineers and managers
  • Owning significant parts of our products that require design, architecture, and coding
  • Participating with senior leadership in developing a long-term technology roadmap
  • Serving as a role model and professional coach for engineers and managers
  • Working with peers across teams to support and leverage a shared technical stack
  • Managing teams to scale distributed applications, make architectural trade-offs, review code, and deliver with speediness and quality
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 12+ years of relevant engineering work experience and 4+ years of hands-on technical management experience
  • 5+ years software design, coding in one of the following languages: Java, C++
Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • 4+ years of management experience in building small to medium-sized teams
  • 5+ years of experience in building and working with production-grade systems
  • Shipped several large-scale projects with dependencies across multiple teams
  • Built and delivered on successful cross-functional partnerships across multiple teams
