Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to spearhead our infrastructure operations, from deployment to release management.

  • Expertise in DevOps tools: Deployment, SCM, Build tools, Artifact repositories, CI tools, and scripting languages.
  • Extensive experience with TFS / Git distributed version control systems and their use in release management, branching, merging, and integration strategies.
  • Excellent understanding of CI best practices and tooling, preferably Jenkins.
  • Developing and automating deployment tools, managing Cloud resources, and good exposure on Docker.
  • Working knowledge of operating systems: Unix, Linux, IBM AIX, Apache Webserver, Tomcat/JBoss, JVM, troubleshooting, and performance tuning through thread dump and log analysis.
  • Backup and restoration of application/web servers data, network infrastructure, clusters, Virtual Hosts, JDBC, auto-deployment, session replication, URL redirections, Re-write rules, http-plugins, security certificates.
  • Designing highly available infrastructure, advanced scripting skills to automate jobs, and security Hardening of application/web server against known/unknown vulnerabilities.
  • Hands-on experience of GCP, AWS, Azure to create network subnets, launch instances, and create load balancer in a Production Environment.
Requirements:
  • Strong expertise in DevOps tools.
  • Experience in scripting languages: Python, Ant, Bash, and Shell.
  • Extensive experience with TFS / Git like distributed version control systems.
  • Excellent understanding of CI best practices and tooling.
  • Good understanding of JVM, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Basic knowledge of network infrastructure.
  • Understanding of clusters, Virtual Hosts, JDBC, auto-deployment, session replication, URL redirections, Re-write rules, http-plugins, security certificates.
