Cloud Architect Job Summary:

This position involves leading teams and handling complex projects involving hybrid multi-cloud setups. A strong focus on testing various approaches, predicting scalability issues, and creating thoughtful decisions based on data is required. It calls for expertise in multiple domains such as security, migration, and architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create scalable cloud solutions using three or more cloud-based platforms like Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or IBM Cloud.
  2. Evaluate cloud-based storage systems, manage costs and stay up-to-date with current practices.
  3. Presentations and reports should clearly convey data-driven results.
  4. Make strategic decisions regarding system updates, maintenance, upgrades, and migration efforts.

Requirements:

The following criteria must be met for this job:

  • Several years of hands-on experience with at least one of the major cloud providers (AWS, Azure).
  • Mastery of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Practical experience with IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and serverless computing.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
  • A solid grasp of cybersecurity best practices, threat modeling, and incident response.
