Study Abroad Counsellor Role

As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for guiding students through the complexities of overseas education opportunities. With 1–3 years of experience in this field, you will have a deep understanding of the admission-to-visa process and be able to provide accurate information about universities, programs, scholarships, and eligibility criteria.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Counsel students on study abroad options, including courses, universities, and countries.
  • Guide students through the complete admission process, including application forms, SOPs, LORs, and documentation.
  • Provide expert advice on visa guidance, financial documentation, and interview preparation.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and educational institutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest changes in admission and visa requirements for key study destinations.
  • Maintain follow-up and ensure high conversion rates from enquiry to enrolment.
Requirements:
  • 1–2 years of experience as a Study Abroad/Overseas Education Counsellor.
  • Strong knowledge of international education systems and admission processes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple applications and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
Preferred Skills:
  • Prior experience in counselling for USA, UK, Canada, Australia or Schengen Countries.
  • Strong persuasion and relationship-building skills.
  • Target-driven with a customer-centric approach.
