Job Description

We are seeking highly skilled researchers with a strong background in Physics to help us fine-tune and evaluate large language models (LLMs). Your work will focus on improving LLMs' ability to understand and solve complex physics problems, such as multi-step conceptual or quantitative questions in areas like mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum theory.

The tasks we have designed are aimed at identifying model weaknesses and enhancing training and evaluation workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and solve advanced physics problems with clear and structured reasoning.
  • Determine the maximum radial distance an electron reaches from a conductor's axis due to the magnetic field generated by the current.
  • Calculate the probability that a high-energy pion decays within a certain distance from its origin given its rest mass and proper lifetime.
Candidate Profile

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A PhD/Postdoc in Physics, Applied Physics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills to tackle complex physics problems.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex topics clearly and concisely.
  • The ability to work independently in a remote research environment and participate actively in team discussions.
  • Access to a reliable computer and internet setup to participate in remote assignments.
