Renewable Energy Foundation Specialist

Our team seeks an experienced Renewable Energy Foundation Specialist to contribute to our Engineering Design Office. In this role, you will design and analyze wind turbine generator foundations, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Optimization: Develop efficient WTG foundation designs for various soil conditions, minimizing material usage while maintaining structural integrity.
  • Structural Analysis: Perform load and stress calculations, including gravity, wind, seismic, and fatigue loads, to ensure foundation stability.
  • Material Selection: Choose construction materials that balance efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Documentation: Prepare and review design basis reports, BOQs, drawings, and calculations, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to BIS, ASCE, AISC, SBC, Eurocode, and other relevant standards, facilitating smooth project execution.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with geotechnical, hydrology, BoP, electrical, and CTS teams to integrate knowledge and expertise.
  • Certification: Support certification processes with external agencies, maintaining project credibility.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
  • Technical Support: Provide expert guidance to BD, procurement, EPC partners, and consultants, ensuring project success.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural specialization) or Master's in Structural or Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: 8-12 years of experience in the Power & Utilities sector, with a focus on renewable energy foundations.
  • Skills: Proficiency in software such as STAAD Pro, SAP2000, RFEM/RSTAB, SAFE, ETABS, and PLAXIS 2D/3D.
  • Expertise: Knowledge of WTG foundation design, geotechnical risk assessment, hydrology, seismic analysis, and civil design codes.
