Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our growing data team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable pipelines, driving analytics, and working with healthcare data standards.

The successful Data Engineer will be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines using Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and ETL tools. They will also optimize workflows for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain scalable data pipelines
  • Optimize workflows for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and delivery
  • Build data models and schemas for analytics and reporting
  • Manage and secure SQL Server databases
  • Handle structured/unstructured datasets from diverse sources
  • Ensure alignment with HL7, FHIR, and HIPAA standards

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, ideally in healthcare or medical data environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, Python, SQL, PySpark, Spark SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Qliksense, and HL7, FHIR, and healthcare data privacy standards (HIPAA)
  • Proven ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
