Technical Consultant for Agile PLM Solutions

We are seeking an experienced Technical Consultant to join our team and lead the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions that support business processes.

  • The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile PLM 9.3.6 and experience in developing and deploying Process Extensions (PXs) using Java.
  • Additionally, they will be skilled in customizing workflows, events, and triggers using the Agile SDK, as well as performing unit testing and supporting functional testing.
  • The consultant will also be responsible for supporting data exchange and synchronization across enterprise systems, such as SAP, Visual, and Enovia, and writing technical specifications for customizations and integrations.
  • Ongoing support for Agile PLM applications and troubleshooting issues will also be required, including reviewing and maintaining Agile ACS code and SDK-based customizations.
  • Furthermore, the consultant will create event scripts and Groovy scripts for workflow automation, customize Agile Web Client UI to improve usability, and work with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements.
  • Recompilation and redeployment of existing PXs during version upgrades, ensuring smooth deployment across development, staging, and production environments, will also be necessary.
  • The use of Agile Import/Export tools, SDK, or direct database staging for bulk data loads or data updates, validation of migrated data for completeness and integrity, and analysis and resolution of application errors related to custom PXs, integrations, or performance issues will also be required.
  • The consultant will perform log analysis (WebLogic logs, Agile PLM logs) for root cause investigation, optimize PXs, queries, and scripts to minimize execution time and impact performance, and assist in load testing for large-scale Agile PLM deployments.
  • Maintenance of documentation for all custom developments, integrations, and scripts, creation of deployment guides for moving code from Dev to QA to Production, and keeping version control of all custom artifacts will also be necessary.
  • Refactoring or rebuilding incompatible PXs and web services, supporting regression testing for technical components, and Tomcat server application development will also be required.
