Strategic IT Asset Manager

Our organization seeks an experienced IT Asset Manager to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing end-to-end IT Asset Management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement IT Asset Management processes for both hardware and software.
- Lead the Software Asset Management lifecycle, including license management, compliance audits, procurement, renewals, and optimization.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure cost optimization and compliance.
- Perform software discovery, reconciliation, and compliance checks across multiple publishers.
- Provide strategic inputs for vendor negotiations, true-up, and contract renewals.
- Drive process improvements and automation within ITAM/SAM practice.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor ITAM/SAM performance and governance.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in IT Asset Management and Software Asset Management tools.
- Solid understanding of license models and hands-on experience in software license optimization, audits, and compliance management.
- Ability to manage hardware asset lifecycle and knowledge of ITIL processes.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience in Excel, Power BI, or ServiceNow reports.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
