Industrial Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced industrial automation engineer to join our production engineering team in Bangalore. This role will focus on implementing tool design solutions for the Boeing Commercial (BCA) business organization.

  • Support the development and implementation of industrial automation tools, including integration and troubleshooting of robots from OEMs.
  • Optimize complex robotics and automation tools for safety, ergonomics, quality, flow, reliability, or maintainability.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement basic work-arounds and maintain configuration of hardware, software, and documentation.
  • Lead and manage projects involving the acquisition or modification of production equipment.
  • Analyze design build concepts to evaluate a producible design build definition.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of programming languages, data collection systems, and industry standards. They will also possess excellent communication skills, project management knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

Basic Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in programming, integrating, or troubleshooting industrial automation from OEMs.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java and SQL.
  • Experience with data collection systems, including Tableau, OPC-UA, and Pi Vision.
