Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our Indian subsidiary and act as an analyst for our UK and International Commercial teams.

This role combines financial management responsibilities with analytical tasks, requiring a highly commercial and analytical individual who can deliver results.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering results, excellent analytical skills, and experience working in international companies.

Main Responsibilities
  • Head of Finance (India):
  • Plan and execute audits of internal financial controls, prepare reports, and ensure statutory compliance.
  • Manage all accounting-related issues, monitor financial details, and report to management.
  • Develop strategies to minimize financial risk, manage budgets, and reduce costs.
  • Responsible for income, cash flow, and expenditure control, collecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial information.
  • Produce financial reports related to budgets, accounts payable, receivable, expenses, etc.
  • Develop and implement procurement, stock/inventory management, and debtors/creditors processes.
  • Manage payroll and prepare monthly MIS reports.
  • Ensure ROC compliances and annual filing.
  • Commercial Analyst:
  • Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking for the Indian business and wider UK/International business.
  • Analyze financial data, create/maintain financial models, and provide decision support.
  • Report on financial performance, prepare for regular leadership reviews, and identify trends.
  • Represent Finance within the UK Commercial team, ensuring integrated decision-making.
  • Benchmarking analysis and business case preparation.
Requirements
  • Strong English language skills and qualified accountant.
  • 5+ years pharmaceutical experience preferably with international company exposure.
  • Management experience, including liaison with senior management, auditors, suppliers, banks, insurance providers, contractors, etc.
  • Highly analytical, self-disciplined, and results-focused with a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and flexible approach to work.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience using analytical tools like Power BI and CRM systems.
