Job Overview

This is a unique opportunity to take on a leadership role in our Tax team, working closely with clients and colleagues to drive business growth.

You will be responsible for supervising and managing tax advisory engagements, delivering tax opinions, and ensuring tax compliances such as filing of tax returns and withholding tax statements.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, analytical skills, and innovative thinking, with excellent communication and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervising and managing tax advisory engagements
  • Delivering tax opinions, short notes, and email responses on day-to-day clients' tax matters
  • Responsibility for tax compliances such as filing of tax returns, withholding tax statements, advance tax, provisioning for income tax, and other tax filings
  • Supervising and managing tax assessment and litigation proceedings before tax authorities
  • Training managers and other executives for their professional development and creating a stronger bench
  • Delivering clients with tax technology assets through licensing and internal managed services
  • SPOC responsibilities for end-to-end tax operate engagements
  • Internal client codes management from the standpoint of time logging, invoicing, and collections
  • Business development, identifying new opportunities, and mining existing ones
  • Contributing to firm eminence programs, events, written or speaking contributions at conferences, and thought leadership papers
Desired Qualifications
  • CA with 8-10 years' experience in Direct Taxation
  • Preferred from Big 4
  • Strong Technical knowledge
