Job Summary

As a seasoned Quality Control Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across various metal components and castings. Your meticulous attention to detail and experience in inspection, testing, and quality assurance will be invaluable in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough inspections of metal components and castings, utilizing techniques such as visual inspection, dimensional inspection, hydrostatic pressure testing, liquid penetrant testing (LPT), ultrasonic testing (UT), and radiographic testing (RT).
  2. Prepare and review inspection reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established quality control procedures.
  3. Liaise with third-party inspection agencies and on-site inspectors to ensure smooth execution of inspections as per schedule and client requirements.
  4. Develop and execute quality assurance plans based on specific customer standards and project requirements.
  5. Perform daily production testing and inspection in the presence of third-party inspectors, and conduct chemical analysis using spectrometers and mechanical testing (tensile and hardness testing).
  6. Coordinate technical activities with NABL-accredited laboratories, ensuring adherence to national/international testing standards.
  7. Supervise and quality-check heat treatment processes for castings.
  8. Ensure the calibration and maintenance of precision measuring tools and gauges.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and rectify defects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with third-party agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • A high level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
