Database Architect

We are seeking an experienced Database Architect to join our team.

  • Design and develop scalable database architectures that ensure high-performance, security and data integrity.
  • Optimize database queries, indexing and performance tuning.
  • Evaluate data security, compliance, backup and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Develop ETL pipelines to support analytics workflows.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Architecting databases for AI-driven applications.
  • Collaborating with AI engineers on vector databases and RAG pipelines.
  • Integrating databases with APIs, CRMs and external systems.

Required Skills & Experience include:

  • Strong proficiency with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL, etc.).
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, etc.).
  • Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, FAISS) is a plus.
  • Expertise in database optimization, indexing and partitioning.
  • Solid understanding of ETL processes, data pipelines and data modeling.
  • Experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS, GCP Cloud SQL, Azure SQL).
  • Familiarity with backup, replication and high availability strategies.
  • Strong Python/SQL scripting skills for automation.

Nice-to-Have includes:

  • Experience with data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
  • Knowledge of streaming data systems (Kafka, Spark).
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML data pipelines.
  • Exposure to DevOps for databases (Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD for DB).
  • Prior work with enterprise-scale databases handling high-volume data.
