Role: SAP Financial Consultant

The ideal candidate will have exceptional consulting skills, deep technical expertise in SAP financial systems, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients in implementing, upgrading, and maintaining SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand financial processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend SAP FI solutions.
  • Stay current with SAP best practices, industry trends, and upcoming releases to recommend innovative solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance and support for SAP FI module enhancements, upgrades, and integrations with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all FI-related issues, troubleshooting, and resolution.
  • Support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or master's in commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, MBA (Finance or equivalent) or a related field.
  • 6 - 8 years of hands-on work experience as an SAP FI Senior Consultant in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
  • Strong exposure in Financial Accounting i.e. Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger Accounting, Taxes, Cost center and Profit center accounting, Asset accounting, Bank Accounting, Controlling.
  • FICO integration with MM & SD Modules, Project System, COPA, Banking - EBS & DME.
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, including configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules.
  • Expert understanding of Interfaces, IDocs, and eDocument.
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, processes, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
