About This Role

Operational Procurement in a dynamic environment focuses on managing end-to-end transactional procurement processes. This includes overseeing day-to-day procurement operations and ensuring timely and accurate processing of procurement requests.

The role is responsible for performing transactional activities such as spot buying, purchase order management, vendor data maintenance, and helpdesk services. Additionally, it involves coordinating with vendors for deliveries and queries related to purchase orders created.

This position also requires working closely with internal departments and stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide timely communication upon inquiries from internal or external sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations and work on end-to-end process improvement.
  • Perform transactional activities of Operational Procurement (Spot buying/PR to PO/Vendor master data/Helpdesk service).
  • Oversee day-to-day procurement operations within the GBS function.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of procurement requests.
  • Reporting expertise to extract reports from SAP as per requirements from Business.
  • Coordinate with vendors for deliveries and queries related to PO's created.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and stakeholders to understand their procurement needs.

Requirements

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate should have experience in operational procurement and be proficient in using SAP software.

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as supply chain management, business administration, or finance is preferred. Proficiency in English language is a must. Basic knowledge of MS Office tools is essential for this role.

The successful candidate will be a team player who can work independently and collaboratively to achieve common goals.
