Job Title: Senior Design Specialist
About the Role:We're seeking a seasoned Senior Design Specialist to join our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing solutions using Business Objects, SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau, or Power BI.
Your expertise in SAP BW and HANA modeling, data integration, and middleware data services tools such as Business Objects Data Services, Informatica, Azure Data Factory, and SAP PO will be invaluable in this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, unit-test, document, migrate, data loads, and deploy solutions in areas of BW and HANA.
- Translate business requirements into functional technical design specifications consistent with best practices and delivery of sustainable solutions.
- Work closely with the BI Architecture Team to understand architecture design principles guidelines for design and build reviews of design specifications and development.
- Actively participate in different development test cycles by providing support for defect resolutions and cutover go live support activities.
- Total 10-12 years of experience in areas of BW and HANA, with at least 2 years as a Design Lead Solution Architect.
- Strong BW and HANA technical expertise and experience in implementation of at least 2 large-scale BI implementations.
- Proven track record in design of BW and HANA back-end architecture design as per defined business requirements.
- Deep understanding of ABAP backed by at least 1-2 years of prior experience in design development.
- Understanding of at least one of the SAP Functional Modules like PP, FI, CO, MM, SD, WM, PM, PS.
- Exposure of BW integration with BPC, SAP APO SCM, Informatica BODS is preferred.
