Key Role: Subject Content Specialist

About the Position

This managerial cum support role involves overseeing the development and management of high-quality question banks, working closely with a large team of subject matter experts, and collaborating with other stakeholders to deliver projects.

  • Ensuring that questions for assessments are accurate, relevant, and meet quality standards.
  • Creating engaging content in general knowledge and current affairs.
  • Question Bank Management:
  • Developing structures and designs for question banks; setting quality standards for writing and reviewing items in respective domains.
  • Tracking inventory and maintaining optimal levels of item availability in assigned non-STEM domains/subjects.
  • SME Management:
  • Defining selection criteria and strategy.
  • Monitoring SME performance quality.
  • Training and developing SME pools in different domains/subjects.
  • Coordinating with SMEs for all test development activities.
  • Designing tests in subjects of expertise and coordinating with SMEs to finalize test designs in other domains/subjects.
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders to fulfill requirements for test items and question sets.
  • Supporting lead subject administrators in delivering projects and other requirements as per the organization's needs.
  • Conducting post-exam analysis, reporting to higher management.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Subject competency in school subjects up to 12th level as per NCERT syllabus.
  • A broader understanding of the country's education system and NCERT/CBSE/boards.
  • Experience working in the education sector related to assessment and evaluation - test designs/blueprints, question development.
  • Good command over English, both written and spoken.
  • Good command over spoken Hindi.
