Job Title: Senior Microservices Architect



Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Microservices Architect to lead the design and development of our microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, Spring Boot, BPMN, Flowable, and Postgres, and will be able to ensure smooth project lifecycles, lead teams, and optimize code and applications for scalability and performance.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Design and develop microservices architecture and integrate with third-party APIs, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
  • Use your expertise in Java, Spring Boot, BPMN, Flowable, and Postgres to build scalable microservices-based applications.
  • Work closely with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to understand Sprint goals, analyze requirements, estimate backlog, and assign Sprint stories.
  • Build reusable code and libraries while optimizing applications for performance and scalability.
  • Handle the complete project lifecycle, from design to implementation, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including implementation approaches and system architecture.
  • Manage multiple projects and provide mentorship and technical guidance to the development team.
  • Review code quality, performance, stability, and scalability, implementing improvements where necessary.
  • Leverage DevOps practices, including CI/CD, and work with code quality tools like SonarQube to ensure streamlined development and deployment.
  • Mentor team members, monitor development activities, and provide regular progress reports on project development.
  • Communicate technical details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Required Qualifications:




  • 8+ years of solid experience in Microservices architecture and third-party API integration.
  • Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, BPMN, Flowable, and Postgres.
  • Experience with Payments Domain Security standards and modern cloud environments (AWS preferred).
  • Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, Angular, Kafka, Maven, and Jenkins.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and code quality tools like SonarQube.
  • Proven ability to handle complete project lifecycles, from inception to delivery.
  • Experience working in Agile environments, particularly in collaboration with Product Owners and Scrum Masters.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and mentoring development teams.

  • Payments Domain experience, including knowledge of security standards.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
  • DevOps experience and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in optimizing and scaling applications for better performance.
