Job Description:

The role of a Stress Engineer involves conducting thorough structural analysis of airframes, incorporating static, fatigue and damage tolerance studies using advanced software tools. Key responsibilities include updating and validating finite element models (GFEM) to ensure data management unit cleanliness.

Stress analysis is performed on composite and metallic materials to predict their behavior under various loading conditions. Load cases are extracted using proprietary Airbus tools, leveraging expertise in Excel VBA for automation and reporting purposes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong background in aerospace engineering with experience in computational mechanics and structural analysis.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software packages, including ISAMI and MSC Nastran/Patran.

The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in analysis and reporting. Experience with DMU cleanliness and GFEM validation is highly valued.
