Job Description

The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for implementing and enhancing quality assurance processes within the DevSecOps department.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and develop test plans for application interfaces and operations.
  • Manage Sonar Cloud quality gates and monitor code quality metrics.
  • Track defects from QA findings.
  • Conduct release readiness reviews and validate quality criteria prior to deployment.
  • Precisely prepare and maintain audit artifacts for compliance and internal/external reviews.
  • Perform vulnerability scanning and reporting using tools such as Sonar Cloud and Visual Studio.
  • Support audit readiness and escalate unresolved blockers.
  • Participate in weekly QA reviews and collaborate with Dev Leads, Ops, and Service teams.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for QA-related issues.
  • Maintain and update system documentation and QA procedures.
  • Prepare comprehensive weekly status reports detailing progress, testing tasks, and artifact collection.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ensure smooth operation and integration of QA processes within DevSecOps.
  • Support release and deployment coordination for enhancements and integrations.
  • Provide training and support to team members on QA tools and processes.
  • Guarantee adherence to organizational policies and standards.

Core Competencies:

  • Demonstrated experience in QA methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking.
  • In-depth knowledge of static code analysis, and vulnerability scanning (e.g. Sonar Cloud).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications are an asset.
