Senior Financial Research Leader

This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of financial research, deal execution, and transaction support services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial research, transaction support, investment banking, or corporate finance, with experience in managing teams and P&L.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client & Deal Coordination
    • Ensure seamless communication between clients, stakeholders, and team members to deliver high-quality results within agreed timelines.
    • Develop and maintain accurate, compliant, and investor-ready materials, including information memorandums, financial models (DCF, LBO, M&A), valuation reports, teasers, and market/competitor analyses.
    • Collaborate with clients to define scope, clarify requirements, and troubleshoot challenges during fundraising/M&A processes.
    • Implement rigorous quality control processes to mitigate errors and ensure compliance with client/regulatory standards.
  • Team & Operational Management
    • Lead a team of analysts/managers, fostering expertise in presentation design, collateral creation, financial modeling, and market research.
    • Optimize workflows and tools to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • P&L Ownership
    • Head and manage revenue and profitability targets, including budgeting, resource allocation, and cost optimization.
    • Identify revenue growth opportunities through client retention, upselling, and expanding service offerings.
  • Market Intelligence & Innovation
    • Stay ahead of industry trends to ensure collaterals reflect current market realities.
    • Develop proprietary frameworks/tools to differentiate our deliverables.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Partner with stakeholders to align deliverables with broader business strategies.
    • Support business development by showcasing expertise in pitch materials and client workshops.
Requirements
  • 12+ years of experience in financial research, transaction support, investment banking, or corporate finance.
  • MBA/CFA/CA preferred; deep expertise in information memorandum, financial modeling, valuation, and investor-facing materials.
  • Track record of managing teams and P&L for deal execution services.
  • Strong client management skills with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience creating collaterals for cross-border M&A, IPOs, or private equity transactions.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PitchBook, Capital IQ, and data visualization tools.
