Establish a reputation as an expert in mortgage underwriting by joining our organization. As a senior member of the underwriting team, you will play a key role in evaluating borrower profiles and making informed decisions on loan applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate creditworthiness using the 4 Cs of Credit – Character, Capacity, Capital, and Collateral to ensure accurate risk assessments.
  • Conduct comprehensive credit report reviews to assess risk accurately.
  • Work on both UK mortgage and US mortgage underwriting, including income calculation, debt-to-income ratio assessment, and loan-to-value ratio evaluation.
  • Assess assets and review principal, interest, taxes, and insurance (PITI) for accurate assessments.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3.5 years of experience in underwriting, preferably in live or end-to-end underwriting.
  • Strong knowledge of credit report review, debt-to-income ratio, loan-to-value ratio, PITI, income & asset calculations.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills with high accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
