Automation Expert

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled automation expert to join our team. As an automation architect, you will design and implement test automation frameworks and strategies for mobile telecom applications.

This role ensures the efficiency and scalability of test automation processes across functional and non-functional testing efforts.

You will select appropriate automation tools, drive development of test scripts, and maintain the automation framework. You will work closely with test teams to improve test efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Automation Framework:
    • Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for telco systems, including OSS/BSS, billing, CRM, and network monitoring applications.
  • Define Automation Strategies:
    • Evaluate and select tools and technologies that align with the telecom SDLC.
  • Test Automation Strategy:
    • Define the test automation strategy and identify automation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Teams:
    • Work with test leads and domain SMEs to identify automation opportunities.
  • Prioritize Test Cases:
    • Prioritize test cases for automation.

Script Development:

Develop and maintain high-quality automated test scripts. Ensure test script reliability and maintainability, following best practices.

Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD):

  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to support continuous testing.
  • Ensure timely execution of automated tests.
  • Optimize test scripts for performance and efficiency.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in the automation framework.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Robot Framework, JUnit, TestNG).
  • Experience automating tests for mobile telco systems.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo), and containerization (e.g., Docker).
