Automation Lead

LTIMindtree is seeking highly experienced professionals to lead the design and implementation of test automation projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 17-20 years of experience in Test Automation, with hands-on expertise in tools like Selenium, UFT, Web Services, Soap UI, and API testing.

The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the design architecture of automation projects, promoting QA productivity through automation tools and best practices, and assisting in ongoing process improvement efforts. They will also assess problem statements, arrive at innovative solutions, and lead the definition, implementation, and maintenance of standard test automation processes, methodologies, tools, and templates.

We are looking for a strong leader who can work with teams on automation strategy and tool kit selection, do code reviews, verify coding standards, and work with peer discipline leads in Development, QA, and Project Management. Additionally, the candidate should be able to mentor junior and senior software quality engineers and possess excellent oral and written communication documentation skills.

Experience in BDD Tools like JBehave or Cucumber, CI Tools like Jenkins, Database testing, Built tools like Gradle or Maven, and working with Geographically Dispersed Teams is desirable. Customer Facing Experience is a must, and experience in Airlines ecommerce Automation testing and transitioning automation activities from other teams or vendors is an added advantage.
