Job Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to lead the design and implementation of data pipelines, data warehousing, and data lake solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and deploying data models that support various business requirements.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading AWS and cloud data platform transformations. They should have a proven track record of delivering large-scale data and analytical solutions in a cloud environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer to work with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide support for data-driven initiatives.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines for collecting, transforming, and loading data into various data stores.
  • Building and maintaining data warehousing and data lake solutions.
  • Developing and deploying data models that support various business requirements.
  • Writing efficient and scalable code in languages such as Python, Scala, or Java.

Requirements for this role include:

  • Extensive experience leading AWS and cloud data platform transformations.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale data and analytical solutions in a cloud environment.
  • Hands-on experience with end-to-end data pipeline implementation on AWS.
  • Expertise in developing Data Warehouses.
  • In-depth understanding of modern data architecture.

This role requires strong collaboration skills to work closely with the Data Product Manager to support alignment of requirements and sources of data from line of business systems and other endpoints.
