Job Title: Water Purifier Product Development Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the development of our water purifier product line.

  • This role will be responsible for overseeing the timely execution of NPI projects from concept to launch, ensuring that all products meet regulatory standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Management:
    • Own project timelines, cost targets, and quality metrics across the product lifecycle, driving business growth through strategic planning and execution.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver on product specifications, regulatory standards, and customer requirements, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Product Development & Validation:
    • Ensure DFMA (Design for Manufacturing & Assembly) and DFX principles are integrated early in the design stage, resulting in efficient production processes and high-quality products.
    • Lead issue tracking and resolution during EVT, DVT, and PVT phases, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  • Operational Readiness:
    • Establish production readiness with manufacturing teams, including process validation, line setup, and yield improvement, enabling smooth production ramp-up.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Develop and refine NPI processes, tools, and best practices tailored for consumer appliance development, staying ahead of industry trends and competitors.

Requirements:
  • Strong program management skills with ability to handle multiple concurrent projects, prioritizing tasks and resources effectively.
  • Deep understanding of appliance product development, preferably in water purifiers / home appliances / consumer electronics, with expertise in plastic parts, filtration technologies, electronics integration, pumps/valves, and assembly processes.
  • Hands-on experience in DFMA, validation testing, regulatory certifications (ROHS, ISI, BIS, NSF, etc.), ensuring compliance and quality standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities, influencing others and driving results through effective communication and collaboration.
