Accounting Specialist Role

Our organization is seeking a meticulous accounting professional to support payroll-related activities, vendor payments, statutory compliance, and reporting duties. This position involves reviewing payroll data for accuracy, processing disbursements, booking expenses, and preparing documentation for audits and reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll & Remuneration Support

Verify payroll data provided by the HR team to ensure accurate documentation.

  • Salary Payments & Accounting

Support salary/remuneration payments under supervision, including obtaining approvals and performing basic accounting entries.

  • Statutory Compliance & GST Handling

Verify statutory payment data and match them with challans, assist in GST invoice validation and recording in the ERP system.

  • Advance Management & Clearance

Manage records of advances given to payroll-related parties and track clearance status, coordinate with the accounts team for due clearance processes.

  • Audit & Reporting Assistance

Prepare schedules and reports for internal and statutory audits, contribute to monthly MIS reports as required.

  • Cross-Functional Support

Collaborate with HR, compliance, and finance teams for smooth operations and accurate financial processes. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Tally and MS Excel, have a basic understanding of statutory and payroll compliance, and be comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
