Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Nutrition Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Nutritional Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of individuals' and patients' nutritional needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing personalized recommendations.
- Dietary Planning: Design and implement nutrition plans that cater to the unique needs of employees with lifestyle disorders, such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and cardiovascular conditions.
- Dietary Guidance: Provide expert advice on healthy eating practices for individuals exposed to occupational risks, high-temperature environments, and physically demanding tasks, promoting overall well-being and preventing workplace-related illnesses.
- Canteen Management: Plan and manage balanced and nutritious menus for canteens, ensuring alignment with occupational health and energy needs, and maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene.
- Food Quality Control: Monitor and enforce compliance with nutrition and safety norms in canteens, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.
- Counseling: Offer personalized counseling services to employees on healthy eating practices, helping them prevent occupational fatigue and lifestyle-related illnesses.
- Nutrition Programs: Develop and implement comprehensive nutrition programs to support worker well-being, immunity, and energy levels, promoting a healthy work environment.
- Awareness Sessions: Organize awareness sessions, workshops, and health talks on balanced diet, workplace nutrition, hydration, and stress-related eating, educating employees on the importance of nutrition in maintaining their overall health.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and physiotherapists, to ensure holistic patient care and provide comprehensive support to employees.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of dietary assessments, menu plans, interventions, and progress, ensuring compliance and reporting requirements are met.
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Nutrition & Dietetics, Food & Nutrition, or equivalent.
- Registered Dietician certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Dietician, preferably in occupational health, hospital, or industrial healthcare setup.
- Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition, occupational health nutrition, and preventive healthcare.
- Experience in large-scale menu planning and industrial canteen management will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
