Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS services, including Glue, Pyspark, SQL, Databricks, and Python. They should also be proficient in developing and maintaining applications using Python and PySpark for data manipulation, transformation, and analysis.

A strong understanding of AWS services like EC2, S3, EMR, Glue, Redshift is essential. The candidate should be able to design and implement robust ETL pipelines using PySpark, focusing on performance, scalability, and data quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, testing, and supporting data pipelines and applications using AWS services
  • Developing and maintaining applications using Python and PySpark for data manipulation, transformation, and analysis
  • Leading and managing projects, including planning, execution, testing, and documentation
  • Handling customer interaction as a key point of contact
  • Translating business requirements into technical solutions using AWS cloud services and Python/PySpark
  • Collaborating with team members and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in data integration and pipeline development
  • Experience leading and mentoring teams in a technical environment
  • Strong real-life experience in Python development especially in PySpark in AWS Cloud environment
  • Strong SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL, Postgres, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch Workflow management tools like Airflow
